Welcome to the personal website of artist Uton.
Uton grew up listening to all types of music from the radio, but really fell in love with Rap and Reggae music. In the late 80’s he started his own personal collection of tapes and records.
His love of music led him into developing the passion for creating his own music. He experimented with different styles of music such as reggaeton, reggae, dancehall, hip-hop and funk.
In 1994 he went into the studio with like minded friends, the out come got him further hooked.
In 1999 he began working on several mix-tapes; he ended up writing a song called "Cocaine Business" for a compilation released in 2000 which sold over 10,000 copies.
The success of the compilation meant Uton was in demand, he was consequently been asked to feature and collaborate on several tracks and mix-tapes across France.
Another compilation album was released in 2004 which showed case Uton’s many varied forms and styles. He took a break to do some live performances across the UK and in 2010 Uton released a hot electro track called “London city”, which received several club and radio plays, very different style to his earlier hardcore rap in 99 such as ‘cocaine business’
Uton is currently working on a dancehall track titled, ‘never stop’ produced by one of UK’s leading producers.
